When I launched my campaign for Ward 2 Councillor for the Town of Pelham, I made a promise to myself and to this community: I wouldn’t just ask for your vote from afar. I wanted to look you in the eye, listen to your concerns right at your doorstep and earn your trust face-to-face.
Over the last 6 weeks, I have done exactly that. I have officially walked every single street in Ward 2—from the busy stretches of Hwy 20, Haist and Pelham Street to our quietest cul-de-sacs and our newest neighbourhoods near Port Robinson Road.
The numbers behind this listening tour tell a story of dedication, but the conversations behind those doors are what will shape how I plan to serve you in Pelham.
- 135 kilometres walked (The equivalent of walking from the Meridian Community Centre – MCC- all the way to Toronto!)
- 2,350 doors knocked across the Ward.
- Hundreds of conversations with our ward’s 5,612 eligible electors.
What I Heard at the Doorstep
Whether you greeted me through a screen door, chatted with me while working in your garden or took a moment to step onto your porch, your message was clear: Ward 2 residents love Pelham, but you want a Council that focuses heavily on what matters most to your everyday lives:
- Responsible Growth and Infrastructure: You want to ensure our roads, sidewalks and local infrastructure keep pace with any thoughtfully planned new developments – withoutlosing the unique charm of Fonthill and Pelham
- Traffic Safety and Walkability: I heard from many parents -and seniors -who want to see proactive traffic-calming measures, safer pedestrian crossings and better connectivity throughout our neighbourhood streets. The gridlock on Hwy 20 – 17,000 vehicles a day, including heavy trucks- has to be addressed! Synchronized lights? We pay hugely with our taxes to the Region!
- Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency: You expect our tax dollars to be managed wisely, with open, visible and timely communication on how Council decisions impact our household budget.
My Promise to You on Day One
Walking 135 kilometres changes how a person views a town. I didn’t just see maps; I saw the exact spots where our sidewalks end, the intersections where traffic backs up and the parks where our kids play.
Your concerns are now my mandate. If elected as Councillor on October 26, I will bring this exact same doorstep work ethic to Council every single day. I won’t just sit silently in Council—I will remain accessible, responsive and active in our community.
The Home Stretch: Let’s Win This Together
We are now just two weeks away from election day. To bring a fresh, hardworking voice to Pelham Council, I need your help to cross the finish line.

- Talk with your friends and neighbours:
If you see my sign, take a picture and send your Ward 2 friends and neighbours your intentions! This is really important!
Thank you, Ward 2, for opening your doors to me, sharing your stories and giving me the absolute privilege of listening to you. Pelham deserves a balanced Council and a “fresh voice” – one that weighs development against the actual capacity of our neighbourhoods, unafraid to ask those tough questions and puts the quality of life of our existing residents first!
